TOBACCO SEEDS

In Spotlight, students designed and painted a plant pot, and today planted their own tobacco seed. Students will be bringing home their pot, with their freshly planted seed inside.

Information about tobacco seeds and the story of our tobacco seeds is linked here

For the seeds to grow, they should be kept indoors with access to light. They should be lightly watered (not drenched) until they begin to germinate. Information about growing the seed can be found here

Week Three Challenge: Community

“There is such a powerful eloquence in silence. True genius is knowing when to say nothing, to allow the experience, the moment itself, to carry the message, to say what needs to be said. Words are less important, less effective than feeling. When you can sit in perfect silence with someone, you truly know how to communicate.” - Richard Wagamese
