Spotlight
This week’s Spotlight focused on the learning intention “I can describe what I feel in my body when I’m experiencing different emotions”. Students had the opportunity to think of how they might feel in certain situations and physical signs that might help them to recognize when they start to feel angry. We also shared strategies that we can use to help “regulate” or calm ourselves down in these moments.
Ramadan
With Ramadan approaching, please let your child’s teacher know if they will be fasting during this time so we can make sure they are supported throughout the day.
One World Drumming
We are so excited to share a special opportunity that will be coming up in April. We have been graciously gifted a residency from One World Drumming! Each class will have an opportunity to work with the program to learn drumming skills on djembe drums with a final performance at the end of the week. We will share more details closer to the event.
A Look at Learning
