Soccer Intramurals
Thank you to Ms. Daniel and Ms. Vause for hosting soccer intramurals at lunch. Students were super excited to play and enjoy the sunshine! A notice about Diversity Cup, a local tournament in June, will be sent home with interested students.
Volunteers Needed!
GW Skene School has several exciting opportunities coming up this spring! On May 26, students will attend a live National Geographic presentation at Arts Commons. As well, on June 19, our whole school will be attending Calaway Park! Both experiences are free of charge, however we need parent volunteers in order for us to attend.
To volunteer, you will need valid volunteer clearance. If you have volunteer clearance and are available for one or both dates, please email kmbriand@cbe.ab.ca. If you need help in submitting your volunteer clearance application, please come to the main office with a valid picture ID such as a Driver's License. Please remember you must have lived in Canada for at least 1 year to apply for a clearance.
Volunteers will be selected on a first come, first serve basis and notified prior to the field trip.
