Halloween Celebrations
The students enjoyed dressing up in their costumes yesterday and they had fun participating in some Halloween themed activities in the afternoon! We love seeing all our students having a great time!
Remembrance Day Assembly
Our Grade 5s are busy preparing to host our Remembrance Day Assembly on Wednesday, November 6th. Families are welcome to join us for the assembly and are invited to arrive at 10:30. The assembly will begin at 10:45.
Winter Concert
Our music teacher, Mrs. Donnelly, is making preparations for our Winter Concert that will take place on December 12th. We are excited to see the students perform a production of “Gnome for the Holidays!”. Please review the letter sent home via email to learn more detailed information about the production.
CBE Child and Youth Well-Being Family and Caregiver Fall/Winter Series
The Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join us in a pre-recorded and live online series focusing on child and youth well-being. These sessions will be hosted in partnership with experts from Alberta Health Services and Recovery Alberta and will explore topics such as Peer Pressure, Healthy Relationships, Mental Health for Highly Sensitive Teens, and navigating Parent-Teen relationships.

“Soul Snacks” are easy and quick actions we can take to calm our nervous system, gain a new perspective on our day, and reduce stress. They are simple, self-care practices we can do to feel well.
Soul Snack Suggestion
- Take a 7-minute walk outside each day. When you are feeling overwhelmed, frustrated or worried, being in nature and moving your body can help you feel better. Elder Kerrie Moore
