Decidedly Jazz Danceworks 

Students had the amazing opportunity to work with Kayla, an instructor from Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, throughout the week learning about dance. They learned about rhythm, West African dance, Jazz, and Hip Hop.  

We are incredibly grateful for the family that gave us this opportunity on behalf of their son, Benjamin. Benjamin was a beautiful human with a kind heart. He had a love of music, and his natural musical talents were fostered in his four years with the Calgary Stampede Showband. He was inspired by piano and played every day.  

Cold Weather Preparation 

Winter weather is here! A reminder that CBE schools rarely close due to snow or cold. 

 Students should be prepared and dressed for all weather conditions, as outdoor breaks and outdoor learning continue unless temperatures reach –20C or colder (including the wind-chill factor).  

It is highly recommended that students have hats, gloves/mittens, a winter jacket, and boots. Snow pants are also recommended.  

Bus Zone Signs 

We have received new signage that will make our bus zone clear. Please do not park between the bus zone signs. Thank you for helping to keep our school safe.
