Remembrance Day Ceremony

A special thank you to the Grade 5 students and teachers for their special Remembrance Day Ceremony yesterday.  The students’ heartfelt writing, songs and artwork truly brought to life the importance of honoring those who have served and sacrificed.  By expressing these themes through their creativity, it helped deepen our understanding of peace, respect and the need for compassion in our world.

We also appreciate that some families were able to join us as well. Coming together in remembrance helps us foster unity and understanding across generations.

Reminders

Today is the last day of classes before Fall Break.  Students are off school from November 8-13. Classes resume on Thursday, November 14!

Decidedly Jazz Danceworks

We have been generously gifted a weeklong residency with Decidedly Jazz Danceworks (DJD) from November 18 – 22. Each day, students will have an opportunity to learn a new genre of dance, learning the history of the genre and basic movements. We are so excited for this special opportunity!
