School Council
School Council will be in person tonight at JSM beginning at 6:00. We would love for parents to come out and learn about how they can support our school community! Snacks will be provided.
Elder Kerrie Moore
Students and staff will have the opportunity to work with a local Métis Cree Elder, Elder Kerrie Moore, on Friday, October 4th. Elder Kerrie will work with students to develop understanding of the protocols around sharing circles, as well as to help them build connection and belonging. We are very excited for all of our students to learn with Elder Kerrie!
A Look at Learning: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Students have been talking about Orange Shirt Day and our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation as a school. There will be many events around the city on Monday to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (linked below). There is also lots of information to learn more about this important day online!
