If a student is going to be absent from school, please call the number above to report the absence. This line accepts messages 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Should a student be absent from school and the school has not received notice from the parents, the school will call the phone numbers listed on the student’s emergency contact list to ensure the student is safe. Should students be absent or late chronically, parents/guardians will be contacted to develop an attendance improvement plan.
Appointments
Parents wishing to meet with administrators or teachers are asked to phone the school to make an appointment.
Permission to be excused from School
Permission to be excused from school can only be granted by the office upon request by a parent/guardian. Students are not permitted to leave the school grounds at any time except when on a field trip or with a parent/guardian's permission.

Regular and punctual attendance is foundational to student learning, academic achievement and long-term success. The CBE Administrative Regulation 6020 - Attendance of Students applies to all students, and outlines the responsibilities for students, parents and school staff.
