Our first School Council meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday September 23 at 3:50 – 4:15 at James Short Memorial School library.

Child care will be available.

School Council plays an important role in supporting our school community. Having an established School Council also allows us to apply for funding and grants that can help us purchase resources and improve opportunities for our students.

One of our biggest priorities are supporting field trips, school residencies, and updating our outdoor playground structures. We will need the support and involvement of our School Council to help make these goals possible.

Please consider joining us! You do not need any special experience, just an interest in supporting our students and school community. We would love to have you there.
